Here’s the thing about Madonna’s new music: it’s downright pitiful.
Some of the newer stuff has been leaked, but in what was perhaps an attempt to combat the leaks, she released a few songs early on iTunes and Amazon, but they really aren’t selling all that well. If you’re thinking “Well, that seems kind of messy,” then you are correct.
So basically, at this point Madonna seems to be starving for the attention that she didn’t get with the leaks, her outrage at the leaks, or her actual releases. And that’s why she’s letting everyone know that she doesn’t hate Lady Gaga (though she’s alluded a zillion times in the past to Lady Gaga not even being a comparison), or any other female artist, or even anyone at all. Here’s one of her latest Instagram posts:
There are those who want to shut me up but they cannot! We still live in a world that discriminates against women. Their are People that are so hateful. they want to create feuds between strong women that do not exist! I do not wish ill will towards any other female artist and i never have! The World is big enough for all of us! I will fight for my rights as an artist, a human and a woman till the end of my days! Because i am a #rebelheart and i walk in the footsteps of giants and i will not apologize Or defend my unpublished, unfinished, STOLEN work. If you don’t like who i am or what I have to say then why are you reading this? #unapologeticb—-. P.S. Do not post hateful words about other people on my page either. If you are my fan speak no evil! #livingforlove
OK, Madonna. Whatever you say. Or rather, whatever you think you need to say to get attention. We got you, lady.
