Oh hey, great news if you like reading words about people being spectacularly dense: Bristol Palin wrote herself a brand new bloggin’ tale! We’re no stranger to all the ignorance she spreads over on her site, but this new thing … I mean, we’d say that it took the cake, but Bristol has taken that cake long, long ago.
Actually, she’s taken it, eaten the whole thing, scraped the pan and licked the bowl. At this point, she’s probably rummaging through the garbage to munch on the egg shells and running her tongue along the counter for any sugar that may have spilled. Do you get it? She is the worst.
In her latest little rant, Bristol is standing up for Kim Davis, the little county clerk that could not do her job. Specifically, Bristol is taking issue with a new android game called Condemn Kim in which players earn rewards by throwing marriage licenses at Kim, who runs around dodging them. As you become more advanced in the game, you can unlock additional things to throw at Kim, like tomatoes, rainbow flags, and divorces. You probably could have guessed, but this game hurt Bristol’s feelings. A lot.
Can you believe this!!!!!!!!?
The same people who shout “EQUALITY FOR ALL” will mock a Christian woman for not agreeing with them.
This is such hypocrisy. Shame on anyone involved in making this game and the LBGT community for accepting a part of this game.
Makes me sick.
Let everyone have their OWN BELIEFS – whether you agree or not.
Yes, it’s weird that Bristol doesn’t understand paragraphs. And yes, it’s sad that she doesn’t understand words. But this is the Bristol Palin that we’ve been dealt, and we just have to make the best of her.
Look, everyone can have their own beliefs, that’s not even a question. You can absolutely believe whatever you want to believe, that’s fine. But when your beliefs stand in the way of you doing your job, then you might run into some trouble. Likewise, if your beliefs violate the law? Not cool. Maybe you believe that basic needs should be free for everyone so you fill your cart up at the grocery store to share with your neighborhood. That’s not going to fly here.
Maybe you are a misogynistic DMV worker who doesn’t think that women should legally be allowed to drive. You can think your goofy thoughts all you want, but perhaps you should find a new line of work. Maybe it is your job to give out marriage licenses but your beliefs state that same sex couples shouldn’t be allowed to marry. No one’s messing with your religion even a little, but when the law says that same sex couples can legally marry, you better get to moving those licenses or get yourself to a temp agency.
There is no hypocrisy here, because what Kim did and what this game is doing are two different things. Equality is not a part of this matter, because the issue was and is about Kim failing to do her job. And, just in case you’re wondering, yes, it is painful to try to explain things in a way so that Bristol may understand them. We do it in hopes that no more words, constitutional amendments, or dumb mobile games get so horrifically misconstrued ever again.
